One Shot – Five Ways

I get a lot of questions about how to take great photos.  So here’s the short version of all the advice I have to give.

1.  Read your camera manual.

2.  Practice, practice, practice!

Here’s a fun assignment we did in my photography class on composition:  Get a subject in one spot, then find lots of unique ways/angles to capture them.  These are some shots from a recent session that show the way I do this:
