The Wedding of Leah & Scott
Whoever said rain on your wedding day is good luck clearly had not been planning an elaborate outdoor ceremony for months… like Leah and Scott. I think if that person would have been in the immediate vicinity of this wedding party Saturday morning – they might have gotten a knuckle sandwich. Instead, it seems that all the frustration turned into prayers for a parting of the clouds and a lifting of the spirits, because by the time the ceremony began – both had occurred. Here’s a peek inside this lovely, heart-felt day.
It’s been almost 12 years since my own wedding day, and I can say with a good degree of certainty that the wedding day is actually quite a lot like marriage itself…
it’s rarely exactly what you planned -
and never perfect,
but when you focus on the love you have for each other – it all turns out beautifully.
